I have used Shilpkar, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and transformed a simple diya into a beautiful peacock.

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Shilpkar, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Ultramarine Blue 23, Light Green 12, Fine Art Brush, Bread clay, Lamasa and diya

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Paint the diya with Fevicryl Acrylic Ultramarine Blue Colour.

Step 2

Mix Fevicryl Shilpkar Resin Base and Hardener to form an even dough and mix few drops of Blue colour to form an even blue colour clay.

Step 3

Take some dough and roll it to form the neck, let it semi dry and then stick it on the Diya using Fevicol MR to form the peacocks neck.

Step 4

Paint the diya with Fevicryl Ultramarine Blue, It will look as shown in the picture.

Step 5

Create the peacock wings and paste them using Fevicol MR.

Step 6

Let it dry completely.

Step 7

Take the dough and mix few drops of light green and form the tail as shown in the picture.

Step 8

Let it dry and then paste it on the Diya as shown in the picture using Fevicol MR.Do the detailing of the peacock and Your Peacock Diya is Ready!!! You can also keep flower around to enhance it.
