Here’s nice Bohemian summer patio project you can create by painting delicate yet bold patterns onto glass canning jars filled with stones and votive candles for a beautiful addition to your décor.
Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Blue 702, Yellow 703, Canning Jars or Vase, Paper, Pencil, Scissors, Tape
Material needed
Wrap paper around jar for measurement. Fold paper into fourths. Draw a point on each fourth and cut out along lines to create a pattern.
Tape pattern around jar.
Paint around the edge of the pattern with 3D Outliner.
Remove pattern.
Paint dots and curved lines under each point around the jar.
Paint scallop lines from the straight lines around the jar, adding dots above the design.
Paint scallops and dots along the bottom of the jar to complete the design. Let dry completely.
Paint another jar, using the same design to create a pair of painted Boho Votives. Add votive candles inside jars. Option: Attach a bracelet at the top of the jar to complete the Bohemian look. Warning: Keep candles and open flames out of reach from children. Use battery operated votive candles whenever possible.
