Floral Cushion Cover

To beat the summer heat, I up-cycled an old cushion by adding an interesting floral motif. Which is refreshing and soothing to the eyes.

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow 203, Dark Green 206, Golden Yellow 209, Turquoise Blue 222, Dark Brown 205, White 227, Fine Art Brushes, Liquid Embroidery Silver 402,Fevicryl Fabric glue

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Using Fabric Glue, paste the same on the cushion cover. Let it dry completely. Use Liquid Embroidery Silver to cover the edges. And here, your cushion cover is ready!!!

Step 2

First take a cotton cloth and de-starch it. Draw a floral design on the same.

Step 3

Once you are done with it, with the help of soft fabric colors paint the flowers and the leaves. But ensure that the colors are not too dark.

Step 4

Let it dry completely then cut the flower from the outline (the outer part) that is; it should be like a motif. Since we are going to cut and paste the cloth on any cushion cover.
