Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Step 1

Take one of a pair of plain Slip Ons.

Step 2

Step 2

Use water to shade and blend colors. Fevicryl Soft Acrylic colors work well to blend and get this shaded effect. To get warm tones, I have used Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colors: Crimson, Orange and Lemon Yellow to get this gradation. Allow the paint to dry.

Step 3

Step 3

Use Fevicryl 3D Liquid Embroidery cones: Black for the tree and crows, Red for the sun, orange and burnt sienna for the landscape detailing. Allow this to dry.

Step 4

Step 4

Repeat the procedure for the other slip on too and allow it to dry for a day. Now you have a pair of painted Slip Ons to stomp around the house.

Step 5

Step 5

You could also try other sceneries on your Slip Ons.
