With Eid just round the corner, here’s how you can beautify and add a personal touch to potli bags to give away gifts.
Fabric cutouts, Potli bag, Assortment of Fevicryl liquid Embroidery cones, Fevicryl Fabric Glue
Use Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery cones of your choice to create circular designs on a fabric. I have taken a printed fabric on which I have used Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery cones to create these mandalas. Cut the designs out once the paint has dried.
Take a plain potli bag. Stick the fabric mandalas onto the bag using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. I have used a jute potli. The Fabric Glue works well on jute too.
Use a Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery cone of your choice to seal raw edges of the fabric. Allow this to dry.
Your potli bag is ready to give away gifts for the coming festive season.
