I made set of 4 mirror, 3D work. It is a kind of lippan / mud work, But I have used clay.
First I the drew image on the canvas, then outlined it using 3D Outliner, painted it using Acrylic Colours and pasted mirrors using Fevicol MR.

Draw the required design
Take Shilpkar, mix Resin Base and Hardener to form a dough. Male coils from the dough and paste it as shown in the picture. Paint it using Acrylic Colour and finally paste the mirrors.
