Canvas with paper plate umbrellas

Step 1

Take a 14” x 18” sized canvas board. Draw a composition pattern that has geometrical forms like circles, semi circles and few curved lines. Paint the pattern with Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17, Pink 18, Prussian Blue 19, Sap Green 21, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Leaf Green 62 and Deep Brilliant Purple 64. Leave it to dry completely.

Step 2

Paint and divide the pattern with few dotted lines, dots, hollow circles to create doodled pattern with light and dark shades of Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17, Pink 18, Prussian Blue 19, Sap Green 21, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Leaf Green 62 and Deep Brilliant Purple 64. Leave it to dry.

Step 3

Create a thick outline on the pattern with Acrylic Colour - Black 02. Leave it to dry.

Step 4

Take the paper plates and the pipe cleaners. Cut the plates into half to make the umbrellas. Paint the umbrellas colourfully using Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Orange 17 and Prussian Blue 19. Let it dry. Stick the pipe cleaners from the rear side of the umbrellas using Fabric Glue.

Step 5

Take the origami paper to create the origami frogs. Fold the paper into half. Follow step 5 to step 20 to make the origami frog.

Step 21

Make about 4 to 5 such colourful origami frogs.

Step 22

Stick the origami frogs and the umbrellas appropriately on the painted canvas using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
