DIY Floor Stencilling

[favorites_button]

I stencilled my balcony floor using white Fevicryl Acrylic Colours over a base coat of the paint 'Gun Grey' by Indigo Paints. The acrylic paint has adhered very well and have not worn out at all.

Scrub the floor with a wire brush and sweep with warm soap water to get rid of any dirt or grease. Fill in any cracks in the concrete with a concrete sealer. I used wall putty as the cracks were not too big.

Paint the base coat with a floor paint. If your floor is already painted, just start stencilling with your choice of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour. Do a second coat of the base paint. Let dry for 24 hours between coats.
