Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Orange 17, Pink 18, Violet 25, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Leaf Green 62, Fevicryl Non Sticky Shilpkar, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Water Container, Colour Palette, Pencil, Paper Cutter, Recycled Corrugated Box, Carving Tool, Magnets.
Take a corrugated box. Draw and cut the outlines of four circles measuring 3” in diameter. Draw few motifs like a ladybird, bird, butterfly and a snail on it.
We are going to make two of our motifs with a little of Shilpkar to give an embossed effect. Take Shilpkar - resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough. Take the ball of dough and shape it accordingly to create the shell of the snail and the body of the ladybird on the corrugated circles. Create the details like the dots on the body of the ladybird and the figures of the shell using clay carving tool. Refer to the image.
Paint the motifs using Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Orange 17, Pink 18, Violet 25, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32 and Leaf Green 62. Leave it to dry.
Take Shilpkar - resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make an even dough. Mix Acrylic Colour - Black 02 to the ball of dough. Take the black ball of dough, roll it further to make even coils.
Make neat thin coils out of the black dough and border each fridge magnet with it. Leave it to dry. Refer to the image. Stick the magnets from the rear side of the painted motifs using Fevicryl Fabric Glue
