12 days of ornament: 4 colly birds

Step 1

• Draw different layers of wings on 4 different colours of felt fabric
• Make 2 of each share
• Use a white color pencil to draw on them

Step 2

• Take corrugated sheet, cotton fabric, just yarn n paper yarn as shown in the image

Step 3

• Draw a colly bird measuring 12 cm on the corrugated sheet
• Use a pencil to draw

Step 4

• Cut the corrugated sheet in the shape of the bird and place it on the cotton fabric
• Draw around the bird leaving 1 cm space all around
• Use white color pencil to draw
• Draw 2 such shapes

Step 5

• Cut the fabric birds and stick cardboard on one piece as seen in the image
• The other piece covers up the back side
• Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them
• Let it dry

Step 6

• Wrap juste and paper yarn around the bird as shown in the image
• Apply Fevicryl Fabric Glue when u wrap the yarn onto the bird
• Let it dry

Step 7

• Cut the wings using fabric scissors

Step 8

• Take all the materials that will be used for sticking and fevicryl 3d outliner
• Take the golden yarn that will be used to make the loop as well

Step 9

• Layer the wing parts on top of each other as seen in the image
• Using the embellishments and fevicryl 3d outliner, decorate the wings as shown in the image
• Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them all
• Let it all dry

Step 10

• Stick a small red beak and a some stones around the neck of the bird
• Use black bead and white poth to create eyes
• Attach the hanging loop to the bird at the back

Step 11

• Stick the wings to the bird as seen in the image
• Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them
• Let it all dry

The colly bird ornament is ready to be hung on the Christmas tree!
