Materials Needed

Smooth pebbles, Fevicryl Acrylic Colors- Burnt Sienna, Flesh tint, Dark brown, Black, Crimson, White, Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, Palette,Fine Art Brushes, pencil.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Wash and dry the stone. Paint the stone using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black. Leave to dry.

Step 2

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough. You may sprinkle little talcum powder on hands to avoid sticking.

Step 3

To make the roses, take Shilpkar dough and roll it on a flat surface using rolling pin. Leave to semi set for approx 7-8 minutes. Draw a stretched half circle shape on it and cut it. Refer picture. Start rolling from one corner and roll till other corner to get a shape of rose. Stick the end using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Make approx 15 roses of different sizes. Stick them on the stone using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Leave to harden.

Step 4

To make leaves, take Shilpkar dough and roll it on a flat surface using rolling pin. Leave to semi set for approx 7-8 minutes. Draw leaves of different sizes and cut. Mark the veins in the leaves using paper cutter. Stick the leaves on the stone using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Leave to harden.

Step 5

To make tendrils, take Shilpkar dough and roll it in thin long coil with tapering end. Stick the coils to form tendrils on the stone using Fevicryl No-Stitch Fabric Glue.

Step 6

Paint the roses and leaves using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours- Crimson, Dark Green and Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold. Leave to dry.

Step 7

Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No-Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look.
