Nature essence on a pot.
Fevicryl Shilpkar,Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- White 27, Chrome Yellow 03, Sap Green 21, Dark Brown 05, Crimson 04,Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold 352, Bronze 355,Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue,Fine Art Brushes,Palette. Terracotta Pot, Sand paper, Paper cutter, Design, Pencil.
Rub sandpaper on terracotta pot to make its surface even. Wash and dry the pot.
Paint the pot using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- White mixed with very little Chrome Yellow. Leave to dry,
Lightly draw the design on the pot.
Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough. You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.
To make branches, take shilpkar dough and roll it in thin long coils. Stick the coils as branches using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Apply Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the bird design and spread shilpkar dough on it. Shape it as bird using fingers. Make feather lines using paper cutter. Take shilpkar dough and shape it as flat leaves, stick the leaves on pot using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Make veins in leaves using paper cutter. Similarly make small flowers and stick. Leave to harden.
Paint the branches, birds, leaves and flowers using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- White, Chrome Yellow, Sap Green, Dark Brown, Crimson, Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold and Bronze. Refer picture. You may create shades of your choice by mixing two colours. Leave to dry.
Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look. Leave to dry.
