Materials Needed

Fevicryl Shilpkar,Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Dark Green 06, Light Green 12, Crimson 04, Flesh Tint 30, Black 02, Golden Yellow 09, White 27,Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold 352,Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue,Fine Art Brushes,Palette. Terracotta Pot, Talcum powder, Ear bud, Paper cutter, Design, Carbon paper, Pencil.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Wash and dry the pot. Draw or trace the design on the pot.

Step 2

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough. You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.

Step 3

To make the ruffle / frill on edge of dupatta, take shilpkar dough and roll it in a long coil. Flatten the coil and shape it like zig-zag and stick it on the edge of dupatta using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Refer picture. Leave to harden.

Step 4

Take shilpkar dough and make jewellery. Stick the jewellery using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Make the inner lines using paper cutter. Leave to harden.

Step 5

Paint the pot using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Dark Green and Light Green. Add dots with ear bud dipped in Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- White. Paint the face using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Flesh Tint, Black, White and Crimson. Refer picture. Paint the dupatta using Fevicrl Acrylic Colour- Crimson. Add dots with ear bud dipped in Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Golden Yellow. Paint the dress using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Golden Yellow and add dots with ear bud dipped in Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Crimson. Paint the jewellery and dupatta frill using Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold. Leave to dry.

Step 6

Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look. Leave to dry.
