A simple and an enjoyable technique of painting. Do the outlines in Fevicol MR, colour the design in a shading effect and peel of the outlines. This is a simple way to do resist painting.

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Orange 17, Golden Yellow 09, Sap Green 21, Lemon Yellow 11, Prussian Blue 19, Cerulean Blue 32, Black 02, Burnt Sienna 01, Fine Art Canvas Pad (10 Sheet) 16” X 20”, Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, Fine Art Flat Brushes, Colour Palette, Fevicol MR ,Water Container, A4 sized White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Ruler, Pencil, Ornamental Stones Blue, Tote Bag

Step-by-Step Instructions

Take a canvas / cotton tote bag

Step 2

Take a canvas sheet measuring 8” x 10” in size Trace the design on the canvas using carbon paper

Step 3

Outline the entire design with thick lines of Fevicol MR Leave it to dry completely The lines drawn in Fevicol MR may spread a bit

Step 4

Paint the flowers using Acrylic Colour - Orange and Golden Yellow in a gradation The centre of the flower is painted using Burnt Sienna Leave to dry

Step 5

Paint the leaves in green shaded effect using Acrylic Colour - Sap Green and Lemon Yellow Leave it to dry

Paint the background in the shades of Acrylic Colour - Prussian Blue, Cerulean Blue and a little of Black

Gently peel off the Fevicol MR outlines to reveal the white canvas below

Take the painted canvas patch and stick it on the tote bag using No Stitch Fabric Glue Enhance it further by sticking ornamental stones bordering the canvas patch Leave it to dry
