An unusual gift box made with varied attractive materials is what is made here in this project. This is the marvel of mixed media that when used creatively can made a mundane box look so pretty and attractive.

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Crimson 04, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Glitter - Gold 401, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Colour Palette, Water Container, Recycled Container, A4 Sized Antique Print Decoupage Papers, Half A Meter White Lace, A4 Sized Piece Of Jute, Readymade Satin Flowers, Half Cut Pearls, Scissors.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Take A4 sized antique printed decoupage papers.

Step 2

Take a recycled container of your choice.

Step 3

Cover the container by sticking the antique decoupage papers aesthetically using Fabric Glue. Paint the lid of the container using Acrylic Colour - Crimson 04.

Take the pieces of jute fabric to make roses out of it.

Step 5

Cut the jute pieces starting from the centre to the outer side. Refer to the image.

Roll the cut out jute piece starting from the outer side towards the inner side to form rose. Stick the ends with Fabric Glue. Let it dry completely. Make about 6 to 7 such roses to decorate the container.

Decorate the container by sticking the jute roses, white lace, readymade satin flowers and half cut pearls aesthetically using Fabric Glue. Enhance the edges of the jute roses with 3D Outliner Glitter - Gold 401 Your decorative container is ready.
