Celebrate the spirit of Republic Day my making and wearing this lovely Tri – Colour T-shirt. Tie and Dye pattern on the T-shirt gives it an abstract Bohemian feel and it is so simple make!
Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours Light Green 212, Orange 217, White 227, Fine Art Brushes, Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours Light Green 212, Orange 217, White 227, Fine Art Brushes.
Take a plain white T-shirt to make the tie and dye Shibori for Republic day.
Fold the T-shirt vertically in fan folds. Refer to the image.
Then fold the T- shirt in a triangular accordion manner.
Fold it again for a broad Shibori pattern design towards the bottom of the T-shirt.
Tie the triangular folds, at three equal distances, and above the triangular fold too with a thick thread. Refer to the image.
Dampen the T-shirt with little amount of water on the tied part. Dye the tied part of the T-shirt using Soft Acrylic Colours Light Green 212 and Orange 217. Leave it to dry completely.
After drying cut the threads neatly. You will get a Shibori pattern towards the bottom side of the T-shirt
Paint random flowers on the T-shirt with Soft Acrylic Colour White 227. Let it dry.
