Materials Needed

Fevicryl Fabric Colours Burnt Sienna 201, Black 202, Chrome Yellow 203, Orange 217, Sap Green 221, Violet 225, White 227, Coral Red 266, Greenery 267, Fine Art Brushes, Plain White Paper, Ruler, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, 1 ½ Meter Golden Tissue Fabric, Colour Palette, Water Container

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Take a full sheet of plain white paper and draw a rectangle measuring 24” x 36” in size. Draw a Madhubani design in the rectangle. Take golden tissue fabric, mark and cut the fabric measuring 24” x 36” in size by leaving 2” border from all the sides for framing purpose. Trace Madhubani design on the fabric using yellow carbon paper.

Paint the design using Fabric Colours Burnt Sienna 201, Chrome Yellow 203, Orange 217, Sap Green 221, Violet 225, White 227, Coral Red 266 and Greenery 267. Leave it to dry completely. Outline the design with Fabric Colour Black 202. Let it dry.
