Materials Needed

Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours - Black 202, Chrome Yellow 203, Crimson 204, Dark Brown 205, Dark Green 206, Light Green 212, Magenta 213, Orange 217, White 227, Flesh Tint 230, Deep Brilliant Purple 264, Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour - Gold 352, Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Recycled Cookie Jars, A4 sized Paper Canvas Art Silk Fabric (beige and pink coloured) , Pencil, Ruler, Water Container, Scissors

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Take 2 white papers in the same size as that of the cookie jars and draw 2 women with 2 deers and trees in the background, in the Miniature Art Form style. Take the art silk fabric in the same size as that of the cookie jars and give a watery washed effect using Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colour - Dark Brown 05. Leave it to dry. Now trace the drawing with yellow carbon paper on the painted fabric.

Paint the figures, trees, 2 deers and the effect of the grass towards the base using Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours – Black 202, Chrome Yellow 203, Crimson 204, Dark Brown 205, Dark Green 206, Light Green 212, Magenta 213, Orange 217, White 227, Flesh Tint 230 and Deep Brilliant Purple 264. Paint the transperant effect of the dupatta with the dry brush technique using Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour – Gold 352. Leave it to dry. Refer to the image.

Stick the painted fabric on the A4 sized paper canvas. Stick the pink art silk fabric piece on the top edge creating a border, also paint the spiral design on the borders with Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour - Gold 352. Stick the painting on the cookie jars using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Refer to the image.
