Small Ganesha with musical instruments

A pretty composition of Ganeshas with musical instruments, entirely made with Fevicryl Mouldit. Painted amazingly with festive shades, makes it the perfect DIY for Ganesh Chaturthi this season.

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Crimson 04, Ultramarine Blue 23, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic - Gold 352, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Pearl Metallic - Gold 352, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Wooden Plank 12” x 3 ½”, 4” x 4” MDF Coasters, Cutdaana, Pencil, Clay Carving Tools, Paper Cutter, Colour Palette, Water Container

Step-by-Step Instructions

Take Fevicryl Mouldit – resin base & hardener, mix well to form an even soft dough.

Step 2

Take the dough and shape into a small Ganesha figurine using clay carving tools for ease.

Step 3

Step 3

Create textures using clay tools to highlight the ears and garments like you see in the image above.

Step 4

Take some of the clay and shape them into different musical instruments and stick them appropriately like you see it being done in the image. Stick using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

Here you have small Ganeshas with little musical instruments being held.

Paint the Ganeshas with instruments using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Crimson 04, Ultramarine Blue 23 & Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic - Gold 352. Let them dry.

All the Ganeshas placed & stuck on the coasters would look like this.

Take six 4” x 4” MDF coasters. Each of the Ganeshas would be stuck on the coasters.

Paint each of the coasters with evicryl Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic - Gold 352. Decorate the borders with half cut daanas using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

Take a 12” x 3.5” wooden plank, the Ganeshas with coasters would be placed on this plank.

In a very creative manner, stick each of the coasters on the plank using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

Once ready and completed, your beautiful Ganeshas with instruments would look like this, festive and attractive.
