Materials Needed

Fevicryl Fabric Colours Burnt Sienna 201, Black 202, Chrome Yellow 203, Crimson 204, White 227, Salmon Pink 265, Fevicryl 3D Outliner White 707, Fine Art Brushes, Plain Cotton Fabric Cushion Cover, Pencil, A4 White Paper, White Carbon Paper, Colour Palette, Water Container

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Step 1

  • Take A4 white paper, draw Madhubani design turtle Motif on it.
  • Make sure to draw half of the turtle on the cushion cover.
  • Trace the same design with white carbon paper.
  • Refer to the image for the placement.

  • Paint the design with Fevicryl Fabric Colours Burnt Sienna 201, Black 202, Chrome Yellow 203, Crimson 204, White 227 and Salmon Pink 265. Let it dry.

  • Take any plain blue colour cushion cover.
  • We are going to paint it with Madhubani style Turtle Motif in a contemporary style using Fabric Colours and 3D outliner.

  • Your painted cushion cover will look like this.
  •  Enhance the waves and the fishes in water with dotted lines using Fevicryl 3D Outliner White 707. Let it dry.

  • Your cushion cover is ready to use.
