Shilpkar Work On MDF Board
Fevicryl Shilpkar – 2 Nos., Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour – Black 02, Fevicryl Acrylic Pearl Metallic Kit, Fevicryl Acrylic Pearl Metallic Powder Copper 29, Fine Art Brush Flat No. 4, Fine Art Brush No. 4, A triangular wood cutout
Clean the MDF board, Apply Fevicryl Acrylic Colour – Black fully on the surface of the board.
Let it dry
Now create a texture usingFevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the board leaving only the border with a measurement of 1cm.
Mix Fevicryl Shilpkar Resin base and Hardner to form a white dough.
Take a small bit of the dough and shape it into strpps of 0.5cm length and 0.2 cm length
Stick them all around the border of the board using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue (Refer main picture)
Similarly shape the remaining dough to form warli characters having circles for the heads and 2 triangles for the lower and upper part of the body.
Join the head and the upper body with a small thin rolled dough
Likewise do for all the parts of the body as shown in the picture
Using Fine Art Round brush, apply Pearl Metallic Gold and copper on the shaped shilpakar dough and let it dry
Take a pinch of gold dust with the brush and dab it on the board as needed
SImilarly repeat the same with the copper dust. Let it dry.
Finally give a coat of clear varnish on the frame.
