How to make ric rac ribbon rose earring DIY. Steps in my blog https://craftornothing.wordpress.com/2014/07/26/ric-rac-ribbon-rose/
Ric Rac Ribbon, Beads/pearls, Earring hooks, Bead caps to be used as filigree backing, Fevikwik.
The materials required. Ric Rac Ribbon Beads/pearls Earring hooks Bead caps to be used as filigree backing
Cut your ribbon in 4 pieces.
Weave 2 strands - one on top of each other as shown in the pic
This is how it should look like now.. Take a matching thread and stitch the end
Start rotating the thread, it should start forming a rose. Stitch in few places for the rose to stay in its place.
Attach the end to the base and stitch it.
This is how it looks like now.
Flatten your bead cap to get a backing for the rose. Now, glue the rose using Fevikwik and attach the pearl using a headpin/eye pin.
Add your earring hooks and viola, your earring is ready :) Wear it and flaunt it!!
