Metallic-glass kerosene lantern was part of almost every Indian household even twenty years ago. These are common in rural areas till date. This bottle art is made to take us in childhood nostalgia. Here I am presenting handmade designer antique lantern. Fevicryl acrylic colours are used to cover the bottle and green metallic colour is used to give it a metallic look. Flower motifs and 'Bengali Alpana' designs are made to beautify and these are highlighted by Fevicryl metallic golden colour. Glass-stones are also engraved to enhance the antique Indian look. In daylight it can serve as an artistic home decor and at night it can be used as tea-light/rice-light lamp.
