Theyam is a famous ritual art form that orignated in North Kerala. There are many characters in Theyyam. The face painting is very unique for each character. Here I have shown 4 different face paintings of 4 different characters. The border design is from Kerala Mural painting. The vibrant colours used are Fevicryl acrylic colours, pearl metallic gold, fabric glue to stick beads and kundan stones, modge podge to fix the colours and to give a final gloss to the painting.
