12 days of ornament: Drummer Drumming

Step 1

• Use foam sheet pieces to stick the layers as seen in the image given.
• Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them.
• This will help placing the layers at different levels

Step 2

• Take any colour corrugated sheet as base for the ornament.

Step 3

• Cut the drummer as shown in the image given
• As the drummer will be stuck in layers, the cutting will happen accordingly.
• Cut the silhouette of the drummer as shown.
• Cut the cuffs, attire, face, boots, drum, sash, sticks separately as well.
• Use paper scissors to cut them.

Step 4

• Cut different colour cotton fabric and stick them on the corrugated sheet cut outs as seen in the image.
• Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them
• Let it all dry.

Step 5

• Stick all the layers one by one at different distances on the drummer silhouette as seen in the image
• Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them.
• Foam sheet pieces will be used in between to attach the elements to the base.

Step 6

• Stick embellishments on the ornament as shown in the image.
• Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them.
• Use Fevicryl 3D Outliner to give texture on the drum.
• Attach a silver cord to the ornament by passing it between the torso area and stick it near the shoulder.
• Let it all dry

The drumming drummer ornament is ready to be hung on the Christmas tree!

Step 7

• Sketch out the drummer on a gateway sheet/ paper as seen in the image above.
