Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Crimson 04, White 27, Fevicryl 3D Outliner- White 707, Fine Art Brushes, Terracotta Kulhad, A4 White Paper, Pencil, White Carbon Paper, Golden Cord, Scissors, Colour Palette, Water Container

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

  • We are going to paint the kulhad with Aipan design and make the decorative dangler for Diwali.
  • Take the plain prewashed terracotta kulhad.
  • Paint the kulhad with the base coat of Acrylic colour white 27 and then Crimson 04.
  • Let it dry.

  • Take A4 white paper, draw the Aipan design in the size of the periphery of the kulhad on it.
  • Trace the same design on it with white carbon paper.

  • Paint the design with 3D Outliner- White 707.
  • Let it dry.

Step 4

  • Take golden cord, attach the cord to each kulhad and dangle it together.
  • Attach the fairy lights to it and decorate your home on the festival of lights.
