Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Prussian Blue 19, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Sky Blue 63, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, 3 Aluminum Plates, Tissue Paper, Water Container, Colour Palette, A4 Sized White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Metal Hooks

Step-by-Step Instructions

Take aluminum plates for the painting.

Step 2

Step 2

Cover the plates by sticking tissue paper with Fabric Glue on it. This will create the base for the painting to be done. Leave it to dry, Paint the tissue base with Acrylic Colour - White 27. Let it dry.

Step 3

Take an A4 sized white paper and draw an elephant in the Madhubani art form. Similarly, draw a fish and a peacock in the madhubani art form on the other plates. Trace the elephant design using yellow carbon paper. Refer to the image.

Similarly, trace the peacock design on the other plate with yellow carbon paper.

Take the third plate, paint the plate in a base coat of a blue shade made by mixing Acrylic Colours - White 27 and Cerulean Blue 32. Leave it to dry. After drying trace the madhubani design of the fish on it using yellow carbon paper.

Paint the plates with the madhubani design using Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Prussian Blue 19, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32 and Sky Blue 63. Stick the metal hooks from the rear side of the plates with Fabric Glue.
