A very thoughtful idea of making a mother and baby angel as tealites to adorn your home décor. You could paint them in your desired shades but pastels are recommended. They make a very different kind of tealites from the regular ones we see. Your mom would be elated seeing these once gifted to her on mother's day.

Your triangular clay slab will look like this after partially encircling it around the bottle. Leave it to dry.
Take a big sized Fevicol bottle or any plastic bottle. Encircle the triangular clay slab partially on the bottle to form a cylindrical shape. Refer to the image. Join and stick both the edges using Fabric Glue. Make sure that the edges of the slab merge properly.
Take Mouldit - resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even white dough.
Take the ball of dough; roll it to make a slab.
Mark the triangular shape on the clay base to create an angel tealite. Refer to the image.
Take a wooden block with the floral design; take the impressions on the clay slab. Leave it till it is semi dry.
Similarly, roll another slab. Take the wooden block with the floral design and take the impression on the clay slab. Mark the outlines of the wings for the angel. After drying cut along the outlines of the slab. Roll over the wing shaped clay slab on the bottle to highlight the dimensions of the wings. Refer to the image.
Take some ball of dough; roll it to make a small slab. Cut the small slab in the size of the base of the tealite. Stick the base to the tealite with Fabric Glue.Leave it to dry.
Similarly, make the other tealite in the same technique and manner to make it look like a pair of mother and baby angels. Take some more of the dough. Make the faces of the angels. Stick the wings of the angels using Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry.
Paint the tealites using dark and light shades of violet using Acrylic Colours - Violet 25 and White 27, to get a beautiful pastel shade of violet. Leave it to dry. Angel tealites are a good and innovative idea. The impressions made on them with wooden blocks give it a subtle and chic texture. Pastel shades make them look rather ethereal and can be the highlight in in your living room. Placed amidst creepers or planters it would stand out beautifully rendering that perfect ambience and coziness.
