Bottles when painted and used as décor items, add a little charm to the corner where they are placed. Bottle Art is a vast subject and there are a lot of ways to decorate and paint these.

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Sunflower Kit, Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliners, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicol MR, Embellishments, Fine Art Brush, Sponge, Varnish. Glass Bottles.

Step-by-Step Instructions

DOODLING: The Simple Meditative technique of Doodling is one of easiest ways to decorate bottles. For these bottles, I have poured Fevicryl Acrylic Colours into the bottle and swirled it. Then, I have doodled various designs using Fevicryl 3D Cone outliners.

TREES WITH 3D PAINTS: Trees are a beautiful subject to work with on bottles. Be it colored trees, silhouettes, flowers, etc, Just pick up Fevicryl Acrylic Colours, sponge dab these onto the bottle. Then use Fevicryl 3D Outliners to draw the trees.

MIXED MEDIA: Mixed media is a wonderful painting technique where you use and blend various mediums along with a few embellishments. To make these bottles, I stuck a few beads, embellishments and trinkets onto the bottle using Fevicol. Then, used Fevicryl Acrylic paint: Black as the base coat. After which I used a sponge to dab Fevicryl Acrylic Pearl paints and Fevicryl Acrylic Pearl Metallic paints, to give the bottles a rustic look.

ONE STROKE PAINTING: One Stroke Painting is one of the easiest ways to decorate any surface. After applying a base coat, you could also work with any designs that you have and fill up the designs with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours of your choice. This can be followed by outlining the designs using Fevicryl 3D Outliners.

EMBELLISHED BOTTLES: These bottles make amazing gifts for parties. I Picked up Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and randomly covered the surface of the bottle by sponge dabbing. After the base coat dried, I stuck embellishments such as paper flowers, fabric flowers, ribbons, buttons, etc., using Fevicol.

FABRIC DECOUPAGE ON BOTTLES: An ethnic touch can be added to bottles by using these meditative Mandalas. I applied a base coat by gently sponge-dabbing a range of Fevicryl Acrylic Colours. Then, I decoupaged colored fabrics onto the glass bottles by gluing cut fabric pieces using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. After which I enhanced the article by adding finishing touches with Fevicryl 3D Outliners.
