Learn butterfly glass painting. This is step-by-step tutorial to make colourful glass painting design of butterfly using Fevicryl Glass Outliner and Fevicryl Glass Colours.
Fevicryl Glass Colours Water Based, Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Glitter Silver 402, Design, Glass of old wall clock.
Paint the butterfly body (not wings) using Fevicryl 3D Outliner Glitter Silver. Refer picture. Leave to dry.
Clean the glass thoroughly. Place the glass on the design.
Paint the outline of the butterflies using Fevicryl Glass Liner Black. You will get this liner in the Fevicryl Glass Colours Water Based pack. Refer the picture and note the thick and thin outlines in butterflies. Similarly outline the leaves using the Fevicryl Glass Liner Black. Leave to dry.
Outline the floral bunches using Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold. Leave to dry.
Fill the butterfly wings, leaves, stems, floral bunches using Fevicryl Glass Colours Water Based. Refer pack for usage instructions. Leave to dry.
Tip: You may fit the painted glass on the clock again and use it as a wall hanging. You may also paint flowers and leaves on the clock base (where numbers are printed) and then fit the painted glass. This will give a 3D scenary look to the wall hanging.
