Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, White 27, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fine Art Brushes, A3 White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Paper Cutter, Ruler, Rolling Pin, Pencil, Polish Paper, Colour Palette, Water Container

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Paint the coasters with shades of yellow and brown using Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Chrome Yellow 03, and White 27.
  • Let it dry.

  • Draw Marigold flowers inspired by Mughal Miniature art on A3 white paper in the size of the coaster.
  • Trace the design on the painted coasters with yellow carbon paper.

  • Paint the design with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, and White 27.
  • Let it dry.

  • Your coasters with the Indian Print using Mouldit are ready to use.

  • Mix Mouldit resin base and hardener to make an even dough.
  • Roll the dough into a medium-thin slab using a rolling pin.
  • Mark and cut 4” x 4” size coasters from the slab.
  • Use polish paper to create a slightly rough surface on the slab.
  • Let it dry.
