This sponge stamped streamer is a crafty activity for children to play with colours and have fun. You may also cut few different shapes on the sponge and use them creatively for stamping

Materials Needed

Fevicol MR, Rangeela Tempera Colours, Magic Sponge - Sponge cut-out shapes, Colour Palette . Thick White Or Off - White Coloured Card Paper, Water Container, Scissors, Beads Thick String

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Take a white or off white thick card paper Take out Rangeela Tempera Colours in a big palette in which you can dip the sponge stamps You may also use some shallow plate for the colours

Step 2

Dab the sponge lightly on the colour and dab it delicately on the paper Take fresh colour in your sponge everytime you stamp it on the paper You can print each motif multiple times depending on the length of the streamer you require Leave the prints to dry

Step 3

Cut out the prints from the paper as per the outlines of the motifs (Parent's guidance would be required while cutting the motifs)

Step 4

Cut paper strips in the size of about 4' x 1' cm you will need as many strips as the number of motifs that you have printed Fold the strips into half to make it into a loop Stick the paper loops behind each motif for the string to pass through it

Step 5

String the motif and few beads in the string and repeat the same to complete the streamer
