Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Magenta 13, Prussian Blue 19, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Leaf Green 62, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Fine Art Brushes, 4” X 4” MDF Coaster, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

  • We are going to paint the coasters for Diwali with vibrant colours and the fire cracker motifs in vector style on it.
  • Take the plain MDF coasters measuring 4” x 4” in size.

  • Paint the coasters with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
  • Let it dry.

Step 3

  • Paint the coasters in shading effect using Acrylic Colours Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Magenta 13, Prussian Blue 19, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32 and Deep Brilliant Purple 64.
  • Let it dry.

  • Draw and paint the fire cracker motifs like the small Atom bombs, Cracker garlands, sparkling cracker flower pot on it using Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Magenta 13, White 27, and Leaf Green 62
  • Let it dry.
  • Paint the simple quote on each coaster in devnagari “ Have a patakha diwali” with Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
