Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic - Gold 352, Fevicol MR, Fine Art Brushes, Slotted Quilling Tool, Quilling Strips, Colour Palette, Water Container, A3 Sized Card Paper, Sequins, Sponge, Ruler, Pencil

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Sponge dab Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic - Gold around the diya and little on the glow of the diya.

Step 2

Take an A3 sized card paper Draw and cut a 16" x 8" sized rectangle Fold the rectangle in the centre to make the card

Step 3

Take white, yellow and orange coloured quilling strips for the flame and the reds and browns for the diya To make the diya join 2 - 3 brown coloured strips in gradation. Quill the strips using a quilling tool to form loose coils. Stick the end of the strip using Fevicol MR and shape the coil in a diya shape Make the flame in a similar manner by using yellow and orange coloured quilling strips

Step 4

Stick the quilled diya on the card slightly off centred using Fevicol MR Refer to the main image

Step 5

Depict the glow of the diya by making curvilinear lines using Fevicol MR Embed few sequins at equal intervals Let it dry
