DIY Lotus Tea Light Candle Holder

[favorites_button]

Lotus Tea Light Candle Holder creates a magical effect in candlelight. I created an inexpensive candle holder using coke cans.
This Lotus candle holder can be customized with Glass Colours or 3D Neon Liners. They can be used as a beautiful centrepiece.

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours, Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Gold, Fevicryl 3D Neon Liner, Hot Glue Gun, Coke Cans, Scissors, Medium sized plastic bowl

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Take 3 coke cans and cut the ends. Now you get three sheets.

Step 2

Cut out leaves of three different sizes; 1.5, 3 and 5 cms. Cut about 8-10 leaves of each size. With a pencil, make the impression of veins of a leaf on the cut leaves. Fold the leaves lightly so as to get a natural curve.

Step 3

Arrange the leaves on the lower end of the coke can in such a way that the smallest sized leaves come first in the centre. Leave space in the centre for the Tealights. Stick the leaves with hot glue gun in a circular manner around the centre.

Step 4

Step 4

Now stick the medium-sized leaves around the smaller ones so as to form a flower. After that arrange the large leaves.

Step 5

You can paint with glass colours, make designs with 3D Neon Liners, or add glitter to add extra sparkle to the Lotus candle holder. You can paint the inside of a bowl golden and keep the Lotus candle holder inside and this makes for a beautiful centre piece.
