Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Magenta 13, Ultramarine Blue 23, Sap Green 21, Lemon Yellow 11, Dark Brown 05, White 27,Fine Art Brushes,Palette. Bedsheet and pillow covers, Design, Carbon paper, Pencil, Rough papers, Embroidery ring.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Wash, dry and iron the bedsheet and pillow covers.

Step 2

Draw or trace the design on bed sheet and pillow covers.

Step 3

Fix the bedsheet area to be painted on the embroidery ring. Paint the petals of flower using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour – Magenta and White or Magenta, White and Little Ultramarine Blue. Similar paint all the petals of the flower is same colour. Paint the flower centre using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Lemon Yellow and dots of Sap Green. Outline the flower using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Magenta. Similarly paint all the flowers.

Step 4

Paint the leaves using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Sap Green and Lemon Yellow. Leave to dry. Outline leaf veins and outline the leaves using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Sap Green + Little Dark Brown. Leave to dry.

Step 5

Paint the stems using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Sap Green + Dark Brown. Leave to dry.

Step 6

Paint small flowers using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- White, Ultramarine Blue and Magenta. Refer picture. Leave to dry.

Step 7

Take pillow covers and Insert few papers inside them, behind the painting area, so that the backside of the pillow covers does not get stained. Paint the design on the pillow cover, same as you painted the bedsheet.
