Have a gang of lovely friends, this photoframe would make a lovely gift for all of them. Make some funny, whacky characters using the basic quilling techniques and pipe cleaners. Colour the FRIENDS frame and assemble the characters on it. You may further write a special message on the frame for each one of them to make it more personalized

Draw and cut out different shaped facial features from the canvas sheet
Take pipe cleaners or bumpy pipe cleaners in assorted colours to make the hands and the legs for the characters
Twist the hands and the legs of the characters to make them in different dancing and standing postures
Take an MDF wooden "FRIENDS" Photoframe
Take the quilling paper strips in assorted colours Roll tight quills in different sizes approximately ranging frm 1/2 an inch to 2 inches
Roll more of these tight quills, as per needed to make more characters
These are Quilling moulds that can be used to make these tight quills into dome shapes
They come in different sizes to choose as per your requirement
Place the roll, in one of the moulds and press it as you go down
The tight rolled quills are made into domes
Colour the "FRIENDS" photoframe in an offwhite shade made by mixing Acrylic Colour White with little of Burnt Sienna You may give two to three coats of colour for an even finish You may also sponge dab the colour for a slight textured effect
Assemble the domes on the pipe cleaners to make funny and whacky characters Stick the eyes on the domes using No Stitch Fabric Glue Draw two black dots for the eye balls using Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Cone Regular - Black
Dab colourful dots using assorted Acrylic Colours with a ear bud Let it dry
Arrange and stick the characters on the lower side of the photoframe
Insert a photograph of your gang of your friends and its ready to be displayed
You may also let one small character sit up on top of the FRIENDS photoframe
