Materials Needed

Fevicryl Shilpkar 1pack, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours: Orange 17, Green 12, Crimson 04 Lemon Yellow 11, White 27 Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.Thin thread, Key ring, light weighted wooden Ganesha murti, a metal bell, Needle, Talcum powder, tooth pick, small silver beads, small sponge.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardner evenly to form an even dough. You can sprinkle little talcum powder on your hand to avoid sticking .

Step 2

To make beads, take the Shilpkar dough and make 4-5 small round balls and 4-5 small oval shapes. Leave it to semi dry (it should take approx 7-8 minutes) Pierce the holes in the beads using a needle Leave the needle in the bead and engrave the designs using a toothpick (dabbed with little talc) You may create some lines , dots, criss-cross patterns on the beads Leave it to harden

Step 3

Give a base coat of acrylic white to all the beads Insert a needle in the bead again, before you sponge dab the colour Sponge dab Acrylic Colours- Light Green, Orange, Crimson, Lemon Yellow, on the beads Sponge dab the colour very lightly on the beads You may create shades of your choice by mixing two acrylic colours. Leave to dry.

Step 4

Tie thread on the key ring, alternately pass the round beads, silver beads and oval beads. On the other end fix the wooden Ganesha murti and lastly tie the metal bell. Tip- If wooden Ganesha Murti is unavailable, you can make a rectangle slab of Fevicryl Shilpkar and paint Ganesha figure on it with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours.
