Golden Leaf Diya stand.

Step 1

• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix well to make even dough.
• Roll it to make a thick slab with a rolling pin.
• Cut two leaf shapes from the slab.
• Use clay carving tools to make the cutwork effect & design on it.
• Bend the leaves slightly when they get semi dry.

Step 2

• Take some clay to make the base for the stand.
• Make the mould by placing the dough on a small bowl.
• Pierce a hole in the center with the wooden sticks that will be used later for the project making.

Step 3

• Take the wooden sticks and attach them to the base.
• Take some clay to make the base for the tealight.

Step 4

• Attach the sticks to the base and the leaf shapes on the top side of the stick using a little amount of clay and Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

Step 5

• Paint the diya and the stand with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Maroon 14, Pearl Metallic Gold 352 and metallic Powder Gold 08. Let it dry.
