Materials Needed
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 02, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Non Sticky Shilpkar, Fine Art Brushes.Rolling Pin, Clay Carving Tools, Paper Cutter, Tooth Pick Colour Palette, Water Container.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1
Take Shilpkar resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
Step 2
Take the dough, roll it to make the thin slab with rolling pin. Leave it till semi dry.
Draw the outline of the leaf on the slab with a pencil.
Step 3
Cut out the leaf shape and remove excess clay.
Step 4
Take some dough, roll it to make the vein of the leaf
Step 5
Take any real leaf to make a leaf impression on the clay slab.
Press the leaf on the slab properly to give the impression on the slab.
Step 6
Turn the cut out edges of the leaf shape vertically to get a border.
Stick the vein in the centre of the leaf shape with fabric glue.
Step 7
Take some dough, make a cylindrical shape out of it to make the incense stick holder. Leave it till semi dry.
Pierce the hole in the centre of the cylindrical shape for the incense stick.
Leave it to dry completely.
Make two such holders.
Step 8
Stick the incense stick holders appropriately on the vein of the leaf with Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry.
Step 9
Paint the incense stick holder leaf to give a metallic look using Acrylic Colour Black 02 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352 respectively.
Leave it to dry.
