Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

We are going to do a decoupage of a famous Bollywood actress on the box.
Take a black and white printout of the Bollywood actress in the size of the lid of the box along with the ghungroos.
Paint the box with a base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
Draw triangular geometric pattern designs all over the painted box, leaving space for the photo print.
Paint the triangular design with Acrylic Colours: White 27, Teal Blue 68, Neon Yellow 011, Orange 017, and Pink 018. Let it dry.

Step 2

Cut the printout to the size of the lid of the wooden box neatly.
Stick the printout of the actress onto the lid of the box with Mod Podge.
Seal the printout with a first coat of Modge Podge horizontally and then vertically.
Apply multiple coats of Modge Podge on the design to protect it.

Step 3

Similarly, stick the printout of the ghungroo towards the bottom side of the box.
Enhance the printout using Acrylic Colours Black 02 and Neon Pink 018.
Leave it to dry completely.
After drying, apply one more coat of Modge Podge all over the box.
Leave it to dry completely.
