Trace out the design on the canvas board using a yellow carbon paper
Apply Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Chrome Yellow for the background and shade it with orange around the curves of the design.
Mix Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Light Green with Lemon Yellow and apply this for the face and the body.
For the floral areas, apply light blue by mixing Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Cerulean Blue with little White.
For painting the veena, apply Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Crimson and White alternatively
On the white area, paint equi-distant black lines giving a railing effect - This is a special painting technique in Kerala Mural Art.
Outline the entire picture with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black to give an enhanced effect.
