Create a vibrant and textured Lippan art board using Fevicryl products. This project combines the traditional art of Lippan with modern, bright colours from the Carnival Pack, adding clay work and mirrors for a unique, dimensional effect.

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours – Carnival Pack, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Paint Brushes. Square Wooden Board, Pencil, Tracing Paper, Mirrors, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Take a square wooden board and paint the entire base with Fevicryl Acrylic White colour from the Carnival Pack. Allow it to dry completely.

  • Use a pencil and tracing paper to draw your desired Lippan art design.
  •  Once the white paint is dry, carefully trace the design onto the board.

  • Using the Fevicryl Acrylic Carnival Pack, paint the traced design in various vibrant shades. Let the paint dry.

  • Take Fevicryl Mouldit. Mix the resin and hardener in equal quantities to make an even dough.

  •  Take small portions of the dough and roll them into long, thin strands or coils.

  • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick the clay coils onto the borders of your traced design on the board.

  • Add the mirrors to the board by sticking them with Fevicryl Fabric Glue to form a decorative pattern.

  • Allow all the clay and glue to dry and set completely.
  • Your vibrant Lippan art board is now ready, showcasing its final artistic look.
