Step 1

Use multiple colors of markers to color inside the black doodle designs.

Squeeze craft glue around the edges of the journal.

Step 5

Apply canvas to journal, being careful to adhere around all the edges.

Step 6

Gather supplies; white canvas, journal, scissors, hole punch, pencil tassel and pompom, fabric markers, craft glue

Step 7

Lay opened journal on canvas and trace around the edges with pencil.

Step 8

Use black marker to doodle a design within the traced lines on the canvas.

Step 9

Trim excess fabric around the edges of the journal.

Step 10

Let the glue dry completely.

Step 11

Punch a hole in the top left corner of the front of the journal cover.

Step 12

Thread ends of tassel and pompom through hole and tie to attach.
