Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, White 27, Fevicryl Acrylic Pastel Kit, Fine Art Brushes, Metal Dabba (Canister) From Scrap, Pencil, A4 White Paper, Yellow Carbon, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Take any metal container (dabba) from scrap as shown in the picture.

  • Paint the metal container with a base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Allow it to dry.
  • On an A4 white paper, draw a design inspired by Madhubani Art featuring birds and flowers, matching the size of the metal container.
  • Trace the design onto the metal container using yellow carbon paper.

  • Use Pastel Acrylic Colours from the kit along with Acrylic Colours White 27 and Black 02 to paint the design on the metal container.
  • Choose your preferred shades for the design.
  • Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.

  • Once the painting is complete and dry, the metal container can be used to store jewellery or other items.
