Materials Needed

Acrylic Colours Black 02, White 27, Sky Blue 63, Salmon Pink 65, Greenery 67, Fevicryl 3D Outliner White 707, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes,Wooden Slices, Jute Fabric, Assorted Fabric Pieces (Plain, Printed), Pencil, Scissors, Needle & Thread, Colour Palette, Water Container

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Step 1

  • Take the cylindrical houses and attach the roof by sticking it with Fabric Glue.
  • Let it dry.
  • Paint and enhance the roof by replicating the Blanket stitch on the edges of the roof with 3D Outliner White 707.
  • Leave it to dry.

Step 2

  • We are going to make the very tiny pots of the plant with Mouldit for the enhancement.
  • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener to make the dough.
  • Take the dough and make tiny pots.
  • Let it dry.
  • Paint the pots with Acrylic Colours White 27, Sky Blue 63, Salmon Pink 65 and Greenery 67
    • Let it dry.

  • Take the small wooden slices.
  • Stick the houses, the pots aesthetically on the wooden slices with Fabric Glue.
  • Leave it to dry completely.

Step 4

  • We are going to make the small houses with jute and the fabric.
  • Take the piece of the jute.
  • Mark and cut three rectangles approximately 5” x 3” and two rectangles of 5” x 2 ½” in size.

  • Take the Fevicryl Modge podge bottle or Fevicol A+ bottle and wind up the rectangle around the bottle to make the cylindrical shape by securing the ends with Fabric Glue.
  • Let it dry.

  • Take the piece of the jute, mark and cut the circle of 2” diameter to close the one side of the cylinder by sticking it with Fabric Glue.
  • Let it dry.

Step 7

  • Fill up the inner side of the cylinder shape house with cotton neatly.
  • Secure the edges by stitching it with needle and thread.
  • Take the pieces of plain and printed fabric, mark and cut tiny doors for the houses.
  • Stick the doors appropriately using Fabric Glue.
  • Let it dry.
  • Refer to the image.

  • We are going to make the roof for these houses.
  • Take the pieces of the plain and printed fabric as well as the jute fabric pieces. mark and cut the rectangle approximately 3” x 4” in size.
  • Stick the jute pieces to the fabric pieces with Fabric Glue from one side to make it sturdy. Let it dry.
  • Enhance and paint the roof with simple flowers and leaf shapes using Acrylic Colour White 27.
  • Leave it to dry.
