This Shivratri make a mini Shivlinga for puja with Fevicryl Mouldit. To accompany the God is his vehicle Nandi again moulded from Fevicryl Mouldit.

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, White 27, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, Water Container, Clay Carving Tools.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough. • Take the dough and add Acrylic Colours Black 02 in to it.

• Take the coloured dough to make the Shivlinga and the Nandi out of it. • Divide the coloured dough in to three parts to make the base, the Shivlinga and Nandi. • Take some dough and shape it like the spoon for the base of Shivlinga; mould the oval shape as to depict Shivlinga. • Leave it till semi dry.

• Similarly make the small idol of sitting Nandi (the bull). • Leave it till semi dry. • Engrave the jewellery of the nandi with clay carving tools. • Let it dry completely.

• Paint the kumkum tikka on the Shivlinga with Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04 and White 27. • Leave it to dry completely.
