In Indian diaspora we worship women as Shakti, the Supreme Being! Here is a DIY depicting a woman in different avatars, Devi, Radhe, Shakti and Tara.

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Golden Yellow 09, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Pink 18, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Sky Blue 63, Coral Red 66, Teal Blue 68, Fine Art Brushes, A4 Sized White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Plain White Ceramic Plates, Colour Palette, Water Container, 8” X 12” Wooden Place mat.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Take an A4 paper; draw 4 different faces of the women Goddess in the size of the plates. Take the ceramic plates and trace the same on the plates with yellow carbon paper.

Paint the plates with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Golden Yellow 09, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Pink 18, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Sky Blue 63, Coral Red 66 and Teal Blue 68. Leave it to dry completely.

Take the wooden placemat; paint the placemat using Acrylic Colour Crimson 04, Orange 17 and Coral Red 66. Let it dry. Write and paint the Sanskrit shloka using Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.

Make a gallery wall with the place and the placemats by arranging them aesthetically.
