Cover your special books with pretty painted doilies that you make yourself in minutes. Match your décor, or paint them with your favorite color to show off your inner book lover.
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Golden Yellow 09, Fevicol MR, Scrap Book Paper, Fine Art Brush Flat, Lace Deco, Book, Paper Doilies, Disposable Plate, Scissors
Gather supplies; acrylic paint, scrapbook papers, craft glue, brush, book, paper doilies, disposable plate, scissors
Cut scrapbook paper 2” larger than book on all 4 sides. Use paper doilies as stencil by placing on scrapbook paper where desired. Paint over the doilies to create doilies design on the scrapbook paper. Let dry for first book cover.
Lay open book on first book cover. Fold the top and bottom of book cover to size of book.
Fold the ends of book cover inward to size of book. Tuck the ends of book into book cover to complete first book cover.
Paint entire paper doilies for the other book covers. Let dry.
Fold blank scrapbook paper into book covers Glue painted doilies to the book covers. Let dry.
Paint bookends or figurines with acrylic paint. Let dry.
