Upcycle old newspapers.
Fevicol MR, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours- Crimson 04, Pink 18, Light Green 12, Violet 25, Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold 352, Fine Art Brushes. Newspapers, Mountboard, Thin long stick, Sc
To make newspaper tubes, take a newspaper and roll it diagonally on the stick. Remove the stick and stick the end of the newspaper using Fevicol MR. Make atleast 60-70 such tubes.
Paint the tubes with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour-Crimson. Leave to dry.
Place the tubes next to each other and stick. Fold the tubes to form a cylinder and stick. Measure, cut and stick mountboard at the base.
Paint few tubes using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours- Pink, Violet and Light Green. Leave to dry. To make pink flowers, take the pink tubes and flatten them. Coil them in a circle and stick using Fevicol MR. Stick 8-9 pink coils to form a flower. To make violet flower, cut violet tubes in small pieces and stick them around a pink coil using Fevicol MR
To make stem, flatten a green coil and twist it. Stick using Fevicol MR. To make leaves, flatten the green tubes and roll them in a coil. Pinch and shape them as leaves. Stick using Fevicol MR
Cut small pieces of crimson tubes and stick them on the rim of the vase.
Paint tubes using Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold. Leave to dry. Flatten the gold tubes and stick at the top and bottom of the vase using Fevicol MR. Leave to dry.
Variation- Refer the second vase in the picture. Colours used are Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Green 357 and Gold 352.
